Play Therapy

Children in therapy often have struggles at home, in school, or with their peers. Play therapy gives them the opportunity to express themselves in a safe and non-threatening environment. It encourages the expression of emotions, creativity and allows them a way to change the way they feel about themselves and resolve difficulties.

Play therapy can be directive or more child centered, depending on the needs of the child.
Play is nature’s way of dealing with stress for children as well as adults.
